Dear Labi Amore:
For sometime I have been an aspiring pin-up
model, and one area of concern for me has been my inner lips. The
pin-up models that I idolized, such as Dita Von Teese, had nearly no
inner lips. In my childhood (according to baby photos, and the word of
my Mother) nor did I. I had always been embarrassed and upset about
the fact that I had long inner lips. I felt like I had been cheated
out of a 'normal' looking vulva. I had even made up my mind that I was
going to have surgery on them to decrease their size. One day I
stumbled across this site. I read, watched, and became enthralled. I
had thought that few women had long inner lips, not to mention if they
did, that they would be very embarrassed. I was, for lack of a better
word, shocked. Could someone look upon my curse as a blessing? Indeed
it was true, and after a few days, I gave up on the idea of surgery.
Now, I've found a new level of confidence, and it's wondrous. It's
comforting to know that my aforementioned curse is considered
picturesque. Thank-you so much for creating this beautifully inspiring
site.

Dita Von Teese is a beautiful fetish model and she has indeed very small inner lips. Her sultry looks, long legs, sexy curves and near-perfect boobs were no doubt essential ingredients for her success as a nude super model, but what made her stand out was her natural talent for posing. I don't know if she would have been as successful if she'd had long labia. If it would have made her self-conscious then that would definitely have hurt her career.
