Ultimately, this disgusting practice can be blamed on only one thing:
the so-called "God" of Abraham. The anti-nature mental illness that
is fairly well developed in Judaism and Christianity reaches its full
blown true creepiness in Islam. Ugh!
Actually, physical
deformation is only a tad more objectionable than having one's mind
poisoned in childhood, rendering one crippled and distorted life, eh?
I can't think of any ethnic or cultural group that practiced
this horror before their "conversion" to the worship of JHVH/Allah,
aka "The Demon From The Desert."
