Ok i stumbeled across this website...and i found it quite reassuring that i am not alone in having a slightly larger labia than the average person...but i half still feel abnormal and unattractive as the women in porn videos and porn magazines have nice cute vaginas and i don't buy this b******t about having certain rules and regulations in the porn industry...they may say that but in my opinion ..i feel that they are contradicting themselves..saying it's too sexually explict blah blah blah....erm....and what do they think porn is?? Don't they think shoving sex toys where the sun don't shine isn't too sexually explicted? But they find something that mother nature gave women some what a step too far..hmmm funny that. It's obvious they find it unattractive...and while this patriarchal society thinks it's unattractive then we will find it unattracted too.

Sorry, but you are wrong on that. The porn industry is FULL of women with all kinds of labia. Whether you look at porn sites or adult videos you will eventually find hundreds of women with large labia. Maybe you've never seen any, but that's probably because you haven't seen that much stuff.
I agree that the majority of porn stars doesn't have these larger lips and the proportion of large to small labia in the business is probably smaller than the one in real life. I'm convinced this is more because of women's insecurity with their genitals than because of men who may find large labia unattractive. I've watched scenes in movies where the male actor is making nice compliments to a woman about her big lips. Yet, instead of loosening up she reacts with shyness and tries to cross her legs. Just to say that many aspiring porn actresses might just be too self-conscious to show up for a porn casting, never mind making it into the final cut.
By the way, those rules and guidelines about discreet genital detail only apply to the softcore industry. Any adult production that shows the shoving of things into dark orifices couldn't care less about this. Labia or no labia, they just want to show explicit sex.
