I'm an exotic dancer at one of the best clubs in the country. I'm also in my 30's. When I was in my teens, shaving it all off (or "landing strips") were not yet in vogue (I didn't start dancing until about 4 years ago). I was not aware of the vast differences in the way that women's genitals look. Everyone is so unique. I am so alarmed by what seems to be the prevelant attitude about what a woman's vagina SHOULD look like. A lot of men and women are under the misconception that larger labia minora that protrude past the labia majora are downright ugly and undesirable and this is somehow a result of promiscuity and being "worn out." I've heard some really degrading things. It doesn't help that there are doctors in the town where I live who are greedy and who seek to profit by making women feel insecure about their genitals and that they somehow need improving (www.lvratlanta.com). Now THAT is disgusting.

Thank you soooooo much for your wonderful website. I wish that more folks could see it...especailly men. I wish those doctors could see it. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
