I am a 35 year old woman who has spent my whole life ashamed of my genital area. I have watched a few porn movies in my life and have always noticed that the women in these movies didn't have big lips like I did, so I felt disgusted with myself because I figured it was just me that was abnormal. I have always tried to hide my genital area when having sex by avoiding oral sex or keeping the lights off because I didn't want anyone to see how disgusting I was. I have contemplated surgery over the years but was too scared to do anything about it. Then tonight my ex boyfriend sent me the link to your site. He said he had been doing research about the subject because he knew how insecure I was about my labia and he wanted to see if there were others out there like me. He always tried to tell me over the years that he loved my lips and how that sex with me felt amazing especially because of my large lips and how they felt wrapped around him. I always thought he was just telling me that because he loved me and not because it was actually true. He told me "just read the letters, you will see you are not alone". So, I opened the link he sent me and started reading all the letters. Needless to say, the words in these letter brought tears to my eyes because after all these years I know that I am not a freak or abnormal. God made me like this for a reason...I just want to say thank you to my ex James and all the people who have shared their stories on this site...I truly feel free at last from the shame of having a large labia :o)

your letter has touched me. i too felt the same way, but since finding this site, looking at all the pics, and reading some of the letters i now feel that i can love myself completely and not be ashamed of my large inner lips. i should be thankful for what God gave me and large inner lips are not ugly or freakish. they're beautiful and some guys actually like them.
