love in an upside-down world
January 26, 2008
"The origin of all humanity is a very special and beautiful temple that only a woman has. I feel a temple with large gates--outer or inner or both--is particularly beautiful. And, when the morning sun shines into a warm room upon my partner's temple at rest, with pleasure I would approach to offer my prayer of respect, so close my breath could be felt upon her gates, and the gates would reach out to welcome me..." In our upside-down world, expressing the truth of the temple and my pleasure in worship is often unacceptable and considered inappropriate, including by most temple-bearers. Though I (hopefully) do not offend the readers here, the above could easily turn a lot of women off. May I ask the women readers, especially in the unlikely case of a reader from Japan where I live, what words a man might include in a personal to reach out to a woman with a grand temple? It's not an adult personal, I want to share much more in a relationship, but I would enjoy my partner possess this quality. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.
