I couldn't agree more heartily. Years ago one of fellow professors,
in a course of Women's Studies, spent a full hour's lecture on the
beauty of the vulva. She pointed out that men, as a matter of course,
talk and write about the beauty of women's faces, breasts, hair,
hands, feet, teeth, skin, and endless other aspects that make their
ladies beautiful; but nobody --- nobody --- writes about the one
organ that MAKES A WOMAN A WOMAN, the pussy.
As a
professor of Mediaeval British Literature, I couldn't work that into
my syllabus. But she must have turned out a crop of coeds with
a healthier attitude about their own bodies. And probably who felt
deprived when their boyfriends failed to rhapsodize about their
"beautiful cunts." She didn't last long; she was denied tenure.
