you try to encourage women to be proud of their bodies and their sexy, mature labia. but, you are so into shaving and not only encourage women to shave down their, but provide directions. then, when readers e-mail you about this, you respond in such a condescending way....like "how could not shaving the hair even be questioned?" uh, easy. cuz it's not natural. it's just what YOU prefer. how is that any different than magazine editors who don't like meaty pussy lips filtering them out of the pages of their magazines and making women feel bad about themselves because they happen to like women with small lips. you're still selling the image that women have to change what they have down there in order to please men instead of just being happy with what is naturally there. i think it's just that much more annoying that it's coming from a site where you're supposedly supporting all kinds of natural pussies, but really you're just supporting women to shave and stretch whatever they have into the image of what you like. i really hope you don't think you're any better than any of those magazine and sites...because you're not. get over yourself.
Dear alexandra,
I know, how utterly atrocious of me to "not only encourage women to shave down there, but even PROVIDE DIRECTIONS." The horror!
How anyone can compare the process of shaving pubic hair to surgically removing the inner labia (labiaplasty) is beyond me. Cutting hair is like cutting your finger nails. It's dead material for crying out loud! Anytime you cut it, it grows back.
From your other letter I know you're going to have your lips snipped because of the discomfort they cause you. Some women, like Misa for instance, prefer to work around the problem by wearing a thin panty liner; you prefer to have your labia removed. After you go through that ordeal I'd be interested to hear whether you still think labiaplasty is in the same league as pubic shaving though...
