i found this while browsing. i thought it would be very beneficial for people who may be considering surgery on their labia. I'm 16 years old and myself have a large labia. i use to think i was abnormal, because all the photos i had ever seen of womens labia had been tiny. I told my mum about it, and she repeatedly told me i was normal. I still was very consious of myself and was convinced i would never expose my large labia to anyone. My mum In a desperate effort to try and convince me that i was not only infact normal, but beautiful down there, took me to see a doctor. Once examining my labia the doctor suggested the option of surgery, and i jumped at the chance, of course feeling very low and desperate to feel ''normal''. My mum totally refused to even consider the idea. She said it was ''ridiculous''. Being only 16 obviously surgery on my labia wasnt yet an realistic option, but to me it was hope. After coming across this site i feel alot better about how i look down there. And also after reading that article i would totally refuse surgery if ever offered. I was also talking to my friend about my large labia and she held up her hand she said '' Lucy, look at my hand, is it the same as yours?, have you ever seen another hand identicle to mine?'' i answered back ''no'' confused at the point she was trying to make.But as she carried on i realised that not one person on this planet is exsactly the same. We are all different for a reason, its what makes us unique, its what seperates us from everybody else and makes us special.

Anyway, i would just like to say thankyou for making this site as it has raised my confidence more then you can imagine. I hope the article helps.
